Peace. Love. Wildflowers.

(Rudbeckia mollis)
Spring is an exciting time in our Central Florida wildflower garden. But no matter how much activity is going on - bees and butterflies nectarine, birds feeding - it's a peaceful place in which to be fully in the moment, and to listen, hear, smell and touch.

Here's what blooming now:

  • Softhair coneflower (Rudbeckia mollis)
  • Dune sunflower (Helianthus debilis)
  • Blanketflower (Gaillardia pulchella)
  • Coral honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirons)
  • Frog-fruit (Phyla nodiflora)
  • False petunia (Ruellia caroliniensis)
  • Leavenworth's tickseed (Coreopsis leavenworthii)
  • Lanceleaf tickseed (Coreopsis lanceolata)
  • Tropical sage (Salvia coccinea)
  • Cassia (Cassia bahamensis
Many other species will be in bloom soon, including Stokes aster, Blue curls, False indigo (Baptisia alba), and Goldenrod (Solidago spp).

Spring in the wildflower garden.
Peace. Love. Wildflowers.
